CON-243 Architect-Engineer Services - This course is based on part 36 of the FAR, and provides the participant with information on the unique aspects of contracting for architect-engineer (A-E) services.

Coverage includes the Selection of Archtects and Engineers statute, solicitation evaluation, and award and administration of A-E contracts. This course is suitable for more experienced contracting personnel.

Course Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to recognize the need for team participation in acquiring A-E services, specify the scope of work, understand basic cost/price analysis techniques, design and conduct negotiations, understand law and regulations unique to A-E contracting, and understand contract management and administration.
