Fundamentals of Cost and Price Analysis (CON 170) Distance Learning is designed to help students learn how to apply contracting policies and procedures, as well as how to apply quantitative tools to accomplish cost and price analysis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the Contract Pricing Reference Guide.

Course Requirements

Student MaterialsInstructions will be provided for students to download initial class materials, including self-study assignments, exercises, and other reference material.

Hardware and software: Students require access to a computer and a high-speed Internet connection to complete assigned individual and team activities. Telephone access is also required. A URL and toll-free audio conference number will be provided.

Course Structure

Students complete a combination of four-hour instructor-led real time (synchronous) sessions, self-paced (asynchronous) web-based training modules, and offline assignments.

Instructor-led sessions include small group activities, games, polls, breakout rooms, discussion, and lecture. This course provides a dynamic and enjoyable learning experience.
