This three-day course is designed to provide the participant with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter into pre-award discussions, clarifications, understandings and negotiations involving the award of assistance agreements. The course is designed to enhance the dialog and understanding of potential responsibilities that may be imposed on the recipient (state, local, and tribal governments or non-profit organizations) and others who may agree to the award of an assistance agreement.
